A previous review mentions the inner ring of the burner canister looking a bit crude. This canister is identical to the cook top canisters except for that added ring.
The ring's purpose is to throttle the burner back a bit, as the cook top burners (with no ring) generate more heat for cooking.
The only way that ring will fit into the hole is to bend it a bit, hence the crude look.
It does not affect performance at all.
The other problem mentioned is the lack of a cap to cover the burner opening. I have found the existing shut-off cap to be good enough to prevent excessive fuel evaporation. The same applies to my Origo 6000 oven/cooktop canisters.
As an added note I find the best fuel to be Methyl Hydrate from building and hardware stores. It's advertised as 99.9% pure and seems to lack the irritants I have experienced in "Marine" alcohol fuels.

I finally got to one fire it up and use it. It is very simple to use and a good amount of heat. It looks like it should last a life time.

The only flaw is an indent in the inner ring where the fuel goes in . It is supposed to be there but the bend in the metal looks crude and out of place with the rest of the fit and finish. Also I was surprised that there is no screw down cap on the opening of the fuel canister! If it is put away in storage all your fuel will just evaporate? All my trangia stoves have a screw down cap to save your fuel.
I would still recommend this stove to anyone who needs a simple hard working heater/ stove!
