How the Diminishing Abrasive Formula Works

The key to PlastX’s effectiveness is its diminishing abrasive formula. Unlike conventional abrasive cleaners that use fixed-size particles which can leave swirl marks and micro-scratches, PlastX uses abrasives that start at a controlled size and progressively break down as you work the product into the surface. This means the formula begins by cutting through oxidation and surface defects, then transitions to a finer and finer polish as the abrasives diminish — finishing to a smooth, optically clear surface without creating new damage.

How to Apply

Application is straightforward. Work with a clean, dry surface. Apply a small amount of PlastX to a soft foam applicator pad or clean microfibre cloth. Work the product into the surface using moderate pressure in overlapping circular motions. You will see the product begin to break down and become transparent as the abrasives diminish — this is normal and indicates the polishing cycle is completing. Wipe off the residue with a clean, dry microfibre cloth and inspect the result. For heavily oxidised or scratched surfaces, a second application may be needed.
