This Danforth is designed for boats between 17' and 27' and features two large triangular flukes attached to the stock, allowing the flukes to orient toward the seabed at a 32-degree angle for maximum holding capabilities in common sea bottoms.
It consists of a husky stainless steel bracket and clamp and a 4-1/2" long nylon coated aluminum cleat. It easily mounts to 7/8" or 1" diameter stanchion or rails with the included hose clamp.
This has been described as the best blue water sailor's knife available. They are often strapped to the side of a companionway ladder, keeping the Knife kit convenient to the cabin and the cockpit.
