We were wondering what type of life jacket we could get for our daughter. She was born at the end of July and would be a month old when we took her on the boat.
This jacket was so comfortable that it didn't stop her from falling asleep with it on! It was very easy to secure and to adjust. We loved it so much we bought one for our friend's little boy.

Phenomenal! We took this on a cruise ship with lots of tendering on and off zodiacs.etc. We asked permission to use this, as opposed to the child sized PFD's provided. The captain took one look at it, read the brochure, then asked for the supplier, and said he was buying them for his grand kids. If there is ever a chance that your baby/toddler is going to end up in the water, this is the life jacket for you! I have since bought a second and given it to my sister for her daughter.
It is easy to use, comfortable to still hold the baby (actually, you can almost get a better grip since there are straps, etc), and my son didn't protest wearing it. The only modification I would make is to attach a ring on the front to attach a toy/soother (convenience only), and reflective tape - I added my own which I bought at the marine supply store (you can also buy it at sporting goods stores and fabric suppliers).

I am expecting my first child the beginning of July. I ordered this life jacket because we pretty much live on the lake during July and August. Although I obviously haven't tried this jacket out yet, but it is less bulky then any other life jacket I have ever seen....also with the mesh backing it won't be as hot for the baby. It also has a big 'pillow' for the baby's head to stay afloat. I can't wait to put my little one in it :)

I looked everywhere locally for a lifejacket small enough for my 3 month old so we could take him on our boat this summer. I was so excited to find your website and the Bijoux baby life jacket vest. It arrived in record fast time and was exactly as pictured, even cuter! Once the weather heats up we can't wait to take our little guy out in the vest!
