The vane is permanently attached to the stake while the plastic base easily slides in and out of the bow eye fairlead, held in place for sailing with the stake. Simple to install and remove after sailing.
Panel front is IP66 when mounted with the gasket in place - protected against powerful water jets. Includes a 15A circuit breaker switch and a pre-wired harness with dual USB and a 12V Charging Socket. Also, it has a Mini OLED Voltmeter and the integrated circuit breaker prevents a parasitic draw.
Harken's patent-pending stud-bolt mounting system allows one person to quickly install a winch through predrilled holes on deck without removing the drum.
