Designed to fit in-line and provides an easy way to maintain prime in a suction or discharge line. Each end accepts a 3/4" (19 mm) or 1" (25 mm) inside diameter hose.
Gripping surface features diagonal ribs rather than textured abrasive materials to maximize gripping power and greatly reduce line wear. Strong, lightweight composite roller bearings bushings have excellent corrosion resistance and don't require lubrication.
Designed to handle all routine pumping jobs, and the unusual ones. It can pump water out of bilges, sump tanks, or from one tank to another. It can pump oil from inboard or sterndrive engines, or crankcases when oil needs changing. A tube is provided to insert into the dipstick hole and the oil can be quickly pumped out.
The short version used as the first piece of pipe from the top of diesel or solid fuel heater. The barometric damper helps decrease the draft on longer chimneys allowing the user to operate the unit on lower fuel settings. Recommended on all installs.
