These horizontal, fully automatic rope/chain windlasses from Maxwell have been designed to meet the demands for use on larger vessels up to 16 metres (52 feet), which require a completely above deck installation system. The HRC10 flawlessly handle rope up to 16mm (5/8") and chain up to 10mm (3/8") in size, including the thick rope to chain splice.
Inspired by the distinctive drum profile of Andersen winches, Power Ribs have been incorporated into the fully machined drums of Ronstan’s Orbit Winches to deliver the same impressive line handling with maximum grip and minimal rope wear.
With a 50 mm lens diameter the Navigator gives a bright, brilliant image even in twilight. Handling is dramatically improved thanks to the new "Open-Bridge-System", while the texturing on the body allows for a comfortable and strong grip in any situation.
The 2021 edition includes up-to-date, consolidated text in line with amendments adopted up to 1 July 2021 and updated unified interpretations that have been keyed to relevant articles and regulations.
