This vest is the best one on the market. I have tested competing brands, but this is the only one I would have my dogs wear. The flotation panels are actually under and on the sides of the dog instead on on the dog's back as you seen in most pet vests from other brands. Underbelly flotation is ESSENTIAL for short necked dogs and broad chested dogs. The vest is also short which makes it convenient for all types of dogs and prevents the hindquarters from floating higher than the chest area. I have a L for my 75 lbs old English bulldogge and it's the only thing he can swim in. He loves water and his confidence (and my peace of mind) are at 100%. The large also fits on my 50lbs German shepherd mix and I will be soon ordering a medium for my 40 lbs malinois mix. This vest is made of excellent quality materials like the ones you would want in your own vest. The handles are well placed and easier to manoeuvre than the single handle present on most pet vests. The price is excellent compared to other quality brands. Don't leave the life of your pet in the hands of cheap brands from the petstore. This vest could save your best friend's life.
