As the items gets used over time, I noticed that the flexible hinging portion stretches. As produced, this stretch causes the valve to touch the surrounding opposite side eventually leaving the valve open resulting in partial refilling of the bowl. Have trimmed it a bit therefore extending the life of the valve. Have not found a solution to eliminating the stretch. This item is a must have spare just the same along with the joker and generally from my experience, changed together to avoid the mess a second time.
