Well made (good cut, stitches and seams are tight). Blue is stand-out in bad weather. Water repellancy works fine (not yet tested in a lashing storm to see if fully waterproof.)
Only criticism, and it\'s minor: you have to make sure side pockets are rezipped when you put something inside. They aren\'t cut on a bias, so if left unzipped, contents will fall out. The other thing to be aware of: they do NOT fit big, unlike so many garments these days. They\'re true to size.
Yes, I\'d recommend it.

Nice quality jacket

This seems like a really good quality jacket. I like the hood and the fit is perfect for me. I normally take a large and the large fits me perfectly. A little warm for summer sailing but should be a good 3 season jacket.
