We spend our summers at the lake and needed an infant life jacket that fit our newborn. I searched and searched and finally found the Salus. Not only did it fit our little lady, but she loves it. She is now almost two and still fits it and still loves wearing it. We have tried lots of other life jackets and none are as comfortable for her. I am now buying another one for our new son. It is more expensive than the ones you find at the big box stores, but it is so worth it. You will love it!

We can’t thank you enough for selling this wonderful life preserver for infants. The other one that we had made our son scream his head off and it was very constricting. We did a trial run of this new jacket in the tub today and my son loved it

This life vest is extraordinary as it has truly been designed for infants! Our three month old granddaughter weighing only 12 pounds was required to wear a life vest while boating during a family weekend on the lake. Our search for a life vest ended when we located the Salus Bijous Baby Jacket; a life vest proportionately designed and styled for an infant of this weight offering total protection and comfort to our newest family member. Most importantly, the service from the company was exemplary with prompt shipment.

I highly recommend this life vest to families with infants looking for the perfect life safety jacket while boating.

\our grandbaby loved this life vest for the first two summers of his life! Other moms inquired as how good he was to keep it on w/o complaints... I said it is very unrestrictive around the neck and arms...they checked it out and even tried it on their babies... There are no alternative to wearing a life vest while boating, may have the most comfortable coverage you can get! We're buying two this year for our grandson so he always has a dry one for the ride home after playing in the ocean. If they're uncomfortable it will trigger negativity when it should be about safety and fun! Our grandson is so independent from day one....so we love that we can hold him by the strap in the back almost without detection; he's happy and safe. His favorite place is to stand on the captain's seat behind his Papa while Papa drives the boat. We could stand next to the seat and hold him gently with the strap and he held onto the bar above and was really cool!

If you are looking for a comfortable, no fussing, safe lifejacket for an infant, this is by far the best option out there. I looked at them all. I bought one for my daughter (now almost 3 - she used it for 2 seasons, as she was born in late June and was light for weight) and one as a baby gift for my sister-in-law, who just emailed me to get the information on where to get the next size, they liked it so much! I purchased the kids vest (30 - 60 pounds) for my then 6 year old too, and she loved it. Never complained about wearing it to swim (endlessly), on the dock, in the tube or in the boat, or just running around on the shore.
The infant lifejacket is very comfortable - No FUSSING, easy to adjust and put on (2 top snaps and one leg snap for the leg strap) and floats the baby just like in the picture. It has a top handle to grab them if they go in the water, and the foam is definitely comfortable. It has pockets in the front for pacifiers, and best of all, you can set the baby easily in the baby carrier in the boat (unstrapped, of course) so they can sleep while you are out for a cruise, fishing, or towing your older child around endlessly on the tube - and everyone is happy!
