A very quick sand with 220-320 and apply the paint. Nothing to do afterwards. Takes about 20 minutes to sand the boat and maybe 2-3 hours of painting each spring.
It's getting pricey. I used 5 quarts on my 30 foot Catalina.

Rating: [5 of 5 Stars] | | | | | | | VC has always been the choice for freshwater antifouling in our area. It is easily applied and good value. It is best done on a cool day becasue it evaporates quickly.
I would recommend this product
Rating: [5 of 5 Stars] | | | | | | | Best features: There is no build up of paint on the hull.
Negative: There are few paints that you can apply over it. While it works relatively well as an antifouling, I believe that Interlux make other paints that are better for use in salt water.
Would I recommend it? Probably for the great lakes, but not for Atlantic Canada.
