This stand-alone 8.4" Colour LCD radar package with a low-profile 4kW radome antenna is designed for a wide variety of vessels, including pleasure craft, workboats and small fishing boats that require an easy-to-use, true colour Radar.

The Model 1815 Radar has intuitive controls while maintaining the high performance you expect from Furuno products.

Even in poor visibility, such as fog or storms, the radar produces detailed pictures of coastlines and targets at short ranges by utilizing narrow pulses and dual IF bandwidths.

The adjustable Display colour options ensure the Model 1815 can be viewed in a variety of conditions.

Furuno's Fast Target Tracking™ (TT) function manually or automatically acquires and tracks ten targets. After selecting a target, it only takes a few seconds for a speed and course vector to be displayed.

With accurate tracking information, estimating other vessels' course and speed is easier.

Advanced auto-adjust settings for Gain/Sea Clutter/Rain Clutter allow targets to be displayed clearly and accurately. The Model 1815 can do this automatically, eliminating unnecessary echoes and displaying a clear image.

When using the True Trail mode, moving objects appear on the main screen with a gradational trail. These trails make it possible to see the movement of nearby vessels in the blink of an eye.

When connected to AIS via an NMEA® 0183 port, up to 100 AIS targets can be tracked and displayed on the screen.

The waterproof display is ideal for exposed installations, such as fly bridges.

The Model 1815 utilizes Furuno's Fast Target Tracking™, True Trail Mode and True View Mode technologies to ensure optimum performance in detecting and ranging targets of interest.

The compact 19.2" (488 mm) diameter Radome is supplied with 10 meters of cable.
