Interlux 4279 Pre-Kote Primer White Gallon
Pre-Kote 4279 in the Gallon size is a unique V.O.C. compliant, single package under coater for use with Brightside Polyurethane, Toplac, Interlux Yacht Enamels or any one-part topside finish. Microspheres are used to give Pre-Kote superior build and hide while improving flow and sandability. Pre-Kote is recommended anywhere above the true waterline where a coating is needed to provide a smooth, fair surface for overcoating with a topside enamel.
One or two coats of Pre-Kote, additional coats may be required, are recommended with sanding between coats. Coverage of 400 square feet per Gallon. May be thinned to a maximum of 10% with Interlux 333 Brushing Liquid when brushing or Interlux 216 Special Thinner when spraying. Pre-Kote must be sanded prior to overcoating with a one-part topside finish.
Only the White Pre-Kote is available in the Gallon size.
Note: Do not use any two-part catalyzed product over Pre-Kote.
