Icom M410BB Black Box VHF with GPS

The IC-M410BB consists of a multi-piece, CommandMic and black box configuration.

With NMEA 2000 plug-and-play data communication, the M410BB can inter-connect with other marine equipment, such as a Multi-Function Display or send GNSS (GPS) position, DSC call, and radio channel to other equipment.

All operations, including DSC, can be made from the HM-195 CommandMic, and the "black box" unit can be installed in an out-of-sight place, up to 60' (18.3 m)* away from the CommandMic.

Up to two HM-195 CommandMic stations can be connected to the  IC-M410BB, providing second station access to the VHF radio and Intercom functions.

Active Noise Cancelling digitally removes background noise from both transmit and receive audio and provides clear communication in a noisy maritime environment.

With just a press of the red "Distress" button, the built-in DSC (Digital Selective Calling) system can digitally transmit distress information to the Coast Guard and/or other vessels. The DSC watch function continuously monitors the DSC channel (Ch. 70) for added safety and security.

A built-in 15-watt amplifier increases the audio output to an optional external hailer speaker, such as the Icom SP-37. The 1-way RX hailer function lets you watch the radio traffic on the deck or tower through the hailer speaker. You can also sound foghorn patterns from the hailer speaker.
