In use for many years now.
Excellent item....
Recommended as so easy to install.
.
It is necessary to keep dust off the warm side pr it will use more amps.
Clean once a year with compressed air in a can available at computer stores or even Canadian Tire for ten bucks.
Over ten years of use and only problem was a loose wire.
Add insulation to make the unit more efficient.
We have over 4 inches.

this was easy to install and the best upgrade I have done to the boat ...no more ice .If its on full it will freeze anything on the bottom .My ice box is big and the unit backs into the engine compartment

One of the best purchases I've made for the boat. Draws only a few amps when it's running (which isn't much). But be careful...it will freeze your beer on high.

excellent product, easy to install. Highly recommended instead o the usual 2 piece compressor/plate units. Fit into the factory icebox with ease. Hardest part was squeezing the trigger on my drill for the pilot holes before the cutout!
